Totley Library Cinema Programme

We aim to show two films a month — one movie on a Friday evening and one matinee on a Thursday afternoon. The Thursday show is free (no raffle ticket required) for the over 65s, but all ages are welcome. It is advisable to pre-cook if you want to attend a film. This can be done in person at the library or by phoning the library when we are open. You can pay when you book or on the day.

Our June 2024 cinema programme at Totley Library is now available for booking in person or by calling 0114 236 3971. Refreshments will be served at all these films. Raffle tickets: £3 per person, Thursday matinee films are free of charge for those over 65s.

New films available for booking:

Friday, 21 June 2024, 7 pm – A Haunting in Venice (12).

The return of Poirot played, by Kenneth Branagh, who reluctantly attends a seance at an old haunted palazzo on All Hallows Eve.

Thursday, 27 June 2024, 3 pm – The Great Escaper (12).

In the summer of 2014, a World War II veteran sneaks out of his care home to attend the 70th anniversary commemoration of the D-Day landings in Normandy.
