S17 COVID-19 Community Support Group

The group has around 150 volunteer members in Sheffield 17. Between them they have delivered leaflets to every house on every street in Totley, Bradway, and Dore, offering anyone who is self-isolating help with collecting shopping, posting mail, getting urgent supplies, or simply offering a friendly phone call. They are working closely with local shops and the pharmacy to ensure that
everyone in the locality receives the essential support they require to manage during these difficult times.

Totley Library closure

Totley Library will be closed from 1pm on Wednesday 18th March 2020

In view of the current government guidance regarding the Coronavirus outbreak, we regret that we have no option but to close.

During the period of our closure, it has been confirmed that all fines will be waived.

Users can still use their library cards to access the eLibrary – eBooks, eMagazines, eAudio and eComics.

The loan period for all library stock from the City Council libraries, including items currently on loan, has now been extended to the 1st of August 2020 (this date will be reviewed regularly). No fines will be charged for books, CDs or DVDs currently on loan.

We look forward to re-opening the library as soon as it is considered safe to do so. We thank you for your ongoing support and hope to see you all in better times.
