Update on Covid 19 precautions at Totley Library
Covid measures will remain in place for library volunteers and be advisory for library users. Keeping safe in Totley Library means being aware of the Hands, Face, Space & Ventilate advice. Our volunteers will wear visors or masks. The screens and hand sanitisers remain in place with some windows open during library hours.
Current opening hours are:
Monday 1 – 7 pm
Tuesday and Wednesday 10 am – 5 pm
Friday and Saturday 10 am – 1 pm
Sheffield Libraries App – A redesign
Use the mobile app to access Sheffield Libraries, Archives & Information from your mobile device. Also, manage your account, search the catalogue, renew and reserve books through the app.
EVENTS
Holiday activities for children – each Friday morning during the summer holidays there will be free craft materials available for children to use to make and create.
Summer Reading Challenge – until 10 September 2022
Our Summer Reading Challenge is free and suitable for children 4 – 11 years of age. All you have to do is read up to six books of your choice during the summer holidays, collecting stickers and incentives along the way. On completion you will receive a medal and certificate. Pop into Totley Library to register! You can also take part with virtual incentives, for more info see the website for details.
NEW BOOK ADDITIONS
We have plenty of new adult titles and a range of new children’s books from well-known authors. You can make a book recommendation online at our website or email us at bookpurchasing@totleycric.org.uk
TOTLEY LIBRARY CINEMA
Autumn Cinema Programme
Our Autumn 2022 cinema programme at Totley Library is now available for booking in person or by calling 0114 236 3971. Refreshments will be served at all these films. Raffle tickets: £3 per adult and £1.50 per child Thursday matinee films are free for Over 65s.
LOST BOOKS & FINES
Since 1st April 2022, there will be no fines on items that are returned late.
Library users are still encouraged to return or renew their library books on time. Lost and damaged items will be charged at replacement value.
