In view of the current government guidance, we are sorry that we have no option but to close the library.
During the period of our closure all fines will be waived.

The Totley Library stock of NHS hearing aid batteries has now been transferred to Totley Pharmacy (158 Baslow Rd, Totley, Sheffield S17 4DR, 0114 236 1070). Please take your card with you when you collecting.
Norman Rolfe – Chair Norman had a long career at a senior management level with BT. Since retiring he has worked, on a voluntary basis, for a number of charities and community organisations whilst finding time for holidays, cycling and golf
Phil Harris – Fundraising Professor Phil Harris has recently retired as Assistant Dean in the Faculty of Development and Society at Sheffield Hallam University and continues to lecture in Public Law. He is a previous Chair of the Association of Law Teachers.
Colin Ross – Council Liaison Colin was first elected to represent Dore and Totley Ward on Sheffield City Council in 1994. Colin retired from teaching recently having taught Geology for thirty-four years. He is currently the Leader of the Liberal Democrats on Sheffield City Council and shadow cabinet member for Children, Young People and Families.
Collette Duke – Booking Coordinator Collette has previously worked for South Yorkshire Credit Union. She currently volunteers for a variety of groups run by Totley Rise Methodist Church along-side regular shifts in Totley Library. Her hobbies include football, movies, and music..
Carolyn Allcroft – Day Coordinator, Safeguarding Carolyn retired after a long career with Sheffield City Council, most recently in the Fostering and Adoption Department. She has experience in managing, training and supporting volunteers and has a particular interest in improving the attainment of disadvantaged children and young people.
Steve Wyatt – Film Club Lead Steve has previously worked as a Project Manager with BT and is now involved with several schools in Derbyshire in a number of roles. He is also Clerk to Hathersage Parish Council.
Julie Kitlowski – Secretary and health and safety Local GP who has worked in primary care for 30 years. Chair of Rotherham CCG and Health and Wellbeing Board in Rotherham for 4 years dealing with partners in the council. Police surgeon for 10 years. Interested in health and wellbeing /prevention and helped set up Social prescribing using invaluable volunteers from various charities to support patient services. Interested in travelling, racketball and hiking

Cvetelin Vasilev – IT Lead Cvet has a degree and a doctorate in Physics and at the moment is pursuing career as a biophysicist at the University of Sheffield, always curious and eager to learn new things. He looks after the library website and IT equipment.
